Airmaster Australia, founded in 1987, is now in its 19th year
of operation. It is a privately held company with its founding
directors active in the business.
The company commenced field service operations in early 1988
with five employees and was based in the south eastern suburbs
of Melbourne in the state of Victoria. It has since grown
to around 200 employees over five States and Territories.
Airmaster's Head office remains located in Melbourne's South
Eastern Suburbs, it is long established and holds a substantial
market share. The Queensland branch was the first of Airmaster's
interstate expansion, operations commenced in 1999. The Queensland
branch, located centrally to both Brisbane and the Gold Coast
quickly established itself as competitive force with its sophisticated
maintenance and service systems and single source of responsibility
attitude towards service delivery. In 2002 Airmaster opened
its New South Wales branch in the Sydney CBD, it is now located
in the Northern suburb of Lane Cove and has satellite operations
on the Central NSW Coast. The same establishment plan used
in the Brisbane operation was adopted for the establishment
of the Sydney branch with similar results, strong growth and
market penetration.
The Australian Capital Territory (Canberra) and South Australian
(Adelaide) operations are both fledgling offices having been
established in February of 2005. Each office will again use
Airmaster's proven systems and procedures to establish their
presence in each location.
In January 2005 Airmaster completed the acquisition of the
Invensys Branches within Australia. Invensys,
a worldwide leader in building automation and control systems,
withdrew direct operations in Australia to concentrate solely
as a Partner Distribution business.
Airmaster, having been an Invensys partner since 1989
through its then Barber Colman Field Office Agreement, provided
a solid and expanding foundation on which to enhance the Invensys
business with substantial leverage available to both businesses
resulting in a strong outlook for continued growth.
Other significant milestones include being appointed as a
McQuay Factory Service Operation in 1991, successfully
completing the transition to a licensed, Quality Accredited
company in 1997, signing as the first Tridium System
Integrator in Australia in 2001, integrating a formal OH&S
system to our QA system in 2002, signing a support and technology
agreement with PowerPax and an exclusive Turbocor
Compressor Retrofit partner agreement in early 2004.
