Project Overview

 

Located in the Canberra suburb of Weston, Cooleman Court Shopping Centre comprises of two supermarkets,

department stores Target and Best & Less as well as 39 speciality stores. The centre was completed in 1978 with a

gross lettable area of 10,682sqm and an annual customer visit of 3.8 million.

 

To further increase the centre’s energy efficiencies, PlantPRO was installed. Deployed in 2015, PlantPRO was established to both optimise the operation of the central plant and to provide advanced measurements and reporting capabilities to the building.

 

Using 2016 as the baseline for energy consumption, PlantPRO has helped to achieve a 12.3% reduction in 2017

compared to 2016. Additionally, reports show a further decrease of 8.9% in 2018 when compared to 2017 and a 22.3% reduction as compared to 2016.
