Airmaster has been officially certified under the SA Government Buildings Energy Efficiency Investment (GBEEI) Program as part of the government’s commitment to improving the energy efficiency of the buildings it owns and occupies.
This program requires all government departments to investigate cost-effective energy efficiency opportunities at government-owned buildings.
Departments will work with Energy Services Companies like Airmaster to identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and minimise energy costs associated with the operation of their buildings.
The Department for State Development has established a list of pre-qualified Energy Service Companies with required competencies in delivering energy performance contracting projects.
Details of building upgrades, and the contribution they make to improving energy efficiency and greenhouse gas emissions, will be reported in the Annual Energy Efficiency Report.
Energy Efficiency Certification Scheme
Comprehensive building retrofits that integrate a range of technologies can deliver substantial energy savings. The Energy Efficiency Certification Scheme recognises individuals that have the knowledge and capability necessary to lead and manage an entire building retrofit. Certification:
identifies industry leaders in the delivery of building retrofit projects;
provides a clear pathway for aspiring energy efficiency professionals; and,
allows commercial building owners and managers to identify industry professionals with the right expertise.
