Crossing Paths: A History of Airmaster in Albury

Over a decade has passed since the official opening of Airmaster’s Albury branch, which commenced operation out of Lavington, NSW in 2010.

With the aim of supporting the requirements of our national clients and to gain a presence in the local market, Airmaster opened its doors and welcomed the opportunities that had been presented by conducting HVAC service and maintenance in a new region.

Starting out as a regional HVAC service and product distributor, the Albury branch began operations with two employees, who together pioneered the direction of the branch and began a new sub-set of regional projects.

Originally managed under the umbrella of the Victorian Branch, Airmaster Albury’s growth saw the need to appoint its own branch manager in 2017 as the business faced growing success seven years after its initial beginning.

Adapting to an increase in revenue and the expansion of new business ventures, the decision was made to promote long-time employee and former Accounts Manager Paul Watson to the position of Regional Operations Manager for Northern Victoria.

“It is our team's hard work, customer service and attention to detail which sets the Airmaster Albury branch apart from the local competition," says Branch Manager, Paul Watson.

Both Mick Phegan and Mark Dockett have been at the forefront of the branch’s growth, sourcing many local contracts coupled with being excellent technicians across the service and installation fields.

Since the commencement of Albury’s operation in 2010, Airmaster has welcomed opportunities for new projects whilst establishing a trusted reputation in the local market. These opportunities have allowed the branch to take on new ventures by way of local government as well as developing a presence in the timber industry.
