PlantPRO – the award-winning plant room optimisation solution will be showcased to over 600 professional tertiary sector managers at the upcoming 39th annual Tertiary Education Management (TEM) Conference in Auckland, New Zealand from September 11-14.
TEMC is a joint venture of the Association for Tertiary Education Management (ATEM) and the Tertiary Education Facilities Management Association (TEFMA). TEMC is the only conference in the tertiary sector which covers the full range of functions in institutions, and is designed to allow participants to build strong networks across Australia and New Zealand.
TEMC has a strong practitioner focus to support the sharing of knowledge and ‘know how’, and also provides opportunities to focus on big-picture issues as well. It allows participants to reflect on their management practice in a regional, national and global context.
The theme of this year’s conference aims to explore how tertiary sector managers – whether involved in facilities, faculties, central administration – work with the theoretical, persuasive and often motivational aspirations to inform our practice.
PlantPRO, named 2015 AIRAH Product of the Year, is the first complete chiller plant efficiency and optimisation solution that delivers efficiencies beyond that of the individual components, regardless of the brand of chiller.
It uses feedback from its on board real time analytics, diagnostics, measurement and verification systems to continually readjust the plant for optimum performance without the need for proprietary engineering tools.
PlantPRO, developed by Melbourne company Conserve It, is utilised both in Australia and internationally, and is installed at 70 sites around the world. PlantPRO is currently in use at over 25 national shopping centres such as Westfield Hornsby in New South Wales, Queens Plaza in Brisbane and Southgate Retail and Forest Hill Chase in Melbourne, as well as iconic office buildings 100 Queen St, Melbourne and Innovation Place, Sydney.
PlantPRO is well regarded internationally. It was in operation at the MGM Grand Macau (realising a US$2.31 million cost saving), and has versions in operation with companies such as Johnson & Johnson Ireland (PlantPRO Measurement & Verification System), CISCO Italy and Boston Scientific USA (OEM versions).
